"Whom do men say that I am?"  –Jesus (Mark 8:27)

MEN say...

THEY SAY that Jesus is God – but not really, fully God; that He's just one "person" in the Godhead. This teaching is called the doctrine of the Trinity – one God, but in three Persons. This doctrine was recognized by the Council of Nicea in the year 325 A.D.

Did you know that the Early Church – the first believers in Jesus Christ – would have been utterly suprised at this teaching? That they had no concept of a Triune God?

There are others who believe that Jesus is not even God; instead, He's "another force" or "another power." Some view Him as a "lesser God."

There are a great many ideas about the identity of Jesus of Nazareth. But what does the Bible say? What did Jesus say about Himself? Does it even matter what we think about Jesus?
